it started as a night-shift project to make the day job easier.

agenticwork is, at its core, one engineer's answer to a simple frustration: ai infrastructure should be owned, not rented — and your data should never leave your network to use it.


i run aiops and cloud infrastructure for a living. the ai tooling i kept getting handed was rented by the seat, welded to one vendor, and happy to ship my data somewhere i couldn't see or audit. none of it was built for the environments i actually operate in.

so nights and weekends, i started building the thing i wanted to run myself: self-hosted, owned outright, wired into the systems already in place — chat, flows, and code mode over one control plane, with no lock-in to any vendor, not the model providers, not anyone. something that took the operational toil off my plate without ever taking my hand off the wheel.

that project became agenticwork. the platform is yours to run on your own infrastructure, self-hosted and under your control. the enterprise layer is what larger orgs run when they need multitenancy and the controls that come with scale.

security is the foundation, not a feature.

every part of it starts from data sovereignty, audit trails, and access control — designed in, not bolted on. fedramp, hipaa, and soc 2 readiness from the first commit, because the environments it is built for demand exactly that.

ownership over dependency.

it runs on your infrastructure, on your models, under your identity. swap providers, swap clouds, walk away with everything. no lock-in to the model vendors, and none to us.

engineering over theater.

working systems, not slide decks. it was built test-first, reviewed adversarially, and shipped — not demoed once and abandoned. if it does not run in production, it does not count.

cut the toil, keep the judgment.

the goal was never to replace the operator. it is to take the repetitive operational work off their plate — with a human in the loop on anything that changes a system — so the hard calls stay human.
